NANS PETERS: "It's crazy

"It is the most beautiful victory of my professional career. At the same time, I only have two! I won in style, in a mountain stage, in front of a great crowd. It's amazing. When we had a 12' lead, I knew we were going to win. I said to myself: "Focus on winning the stage". When I dropped Zakarin on the descent of Port de Bales, I thought about not cracking. I enjoyed the last 500 meters because I didn't do that last year when I won the stage in the Giro. What a day for our team. Stage win, polka dot jersey and Romain is very strong."

ROMAIN BARDET: "A great day for the team

4th overall at 11''.
"It was a great day for the team. It's the first breakaway in the Tour and the first victory, and Nans was able to score. He is opportunistic and has no complexes. My results are a bit mixed because I took a big blow on my knee because of a bad crash and it's painful."

BENOIT COSNEFROY: "Proud and happy for Nans

"Tonight, the fact that I kept my jersey pales in comparison to what Nans achieved. He did a great performance. I am happy and proud of him. We were roommates in Chambéry when we were at Chambéry Cyclisme Formation, we know each other very well and I find what he did totally incredible: first Tour, first victory. Hats off to him

VINCENT LAVENU: "We can breathe

"When you win a stage in the Tour, you can breathe. Nans achieved a feat of the same caliber as last year's Giro. He is a tenacious boy who never gives up. He comes from our training center like Benoit and Romain, which validates our work in depth. Romain is fourth overall, Benoit keeps the polka dot jersey. Nans wins the stage. It's great but we must always remain humble and continue to work and fight."
