The whole team did an incredible job of putting me in the best possible position before my attack with 20 kilometers to go with Mikael (Cherel). He did an incredible job. After that, it was like a dream when he finished the job. In the earpiece, Cyril (Dessel) was telling me not to let up as I continued to extend my lead. I stayed focused until the last few meters before realizing that I was going to win solo. I can't believe it. It's going to take me a while to realize what's just happened!
I've got the yellow jersey now and I want to keep it for as long as possible. It won't be easy with the final time trial on Sunday. To keep the momentum going, I need to maintain the same daring spirit. If I feel I can attack, especially tomorrow on stage 5, I won't deprive myself! I don't want to stop here.
