Clément Venturini

"A huge satisfaction"

"It's a huge satisfaction to win my fifth French Championship title, the fourth with AG2R CITROËN team.
I have struggled a bit in the last few weeks with a difficult program. I wanted to test myself against the strongest riders and make further progress and it paid off today.

Fabien (Doubey) was very strong but I didn't give up until the end. I used my strengths on the physical parts to impose myself.
The main thing was to win, for me but also for the team. I am very happy to be back in the blue white and red colors on the jersey. January is shaping up to be a fun month."

"I used my strengths on the physical parts to come through.
