DORIAN GODON: "Happy to raise my arms

"After two prologue wins (Boucles de la Mayenne 2018-2019), I'm happy to raise my arms for the first time in the pros. I felt good for a few weeks, but whether it was at the Tour du Poitou-Charentes or the Grand Prix d'Isbergues, the courses were not selective enough to make the decision and avoid a bunch sprint. Today, it was a great game of cranks that started with fifty kilometers to go to join the breakaway. With ten kilometers to go on the last climb, two of us managed to get away. And I never worried about the peloton. This victory is good for my morale before the Flèche Wallonne (September 30) and Liège-Bastogne-Liège (October 4).

Andrea Vendrame took 4th place in the race, 8'' behind Dorian Godon[/su_quote].
