"We're entering the part of the season that I love, the summer and the Critérium du Dauphiné - Tour de France sequence. For me, it's the most important time of the year and the one when I have to perform well. The last three weeks at altitude in the Sierra Nevada (Spain) went well. I'm now happy to be back competing and getting back to the sporting level I'd hoped for, after a less successful start to the season than I'd hoped. For me, good results in the Dauphiné and then the Tour are synonymous with a successful season. As usual, I'm going to give it my all to be at the same level as last year and build up my confidence for the future."
