" I already had a plan to attack where I did ".

"After an initial breakaway attempt, I came out alone with just over twenty kilometers to go. I had already planned to attack, and so I did, but with one lap to go. As the feeling was good, I didn't want to take any risks and went off at one and a half laps. The group came back really close with ten kilometers to go, but I believed in it and gave it everything I had. At the finish there was also a nice grouping with Valentin (Retailleau) 7th and Jordan (Labrosse) 9th, I know the team did a great job to make sure I didn't get caught and I owe them a good part of my victory!"
