"A result that will give us confidence".

"The Vuelta a España is off to a good start for the AG2R CITROËN team. Obviously, there's a bit of frustration with third place, as victory wasn't far off, but it's a result that will give us confidence for the rest of the race. There was a lot of nervousness in the pack throughout the day. It was even worse in the final. But I was able to count on the very good work of my team-mates. Mikael (Cherel), Dorian (Godon) and Damien (Touzé) placed me perfectly before the ascent to Castell de Montjuic. Dorian was able to close the gaps, and all I had to do after that was make my own effort. I arrived at the start in very good shape. I want to perform well. We've got some great things to achieve in this Vuelta.
