"It's pretty crazy, I really wasn't expecting it. Raising my arms for my first professional victory, like this, on a Coupe de France, it's hard to believe. My role was to follow the strokes, and the feeling wasn't great at the start of the race, but it got better as the race went on. In the final, I saw that Lewis Askey was starting the sprint and, as I had momentum, I followed him. In the end, we opened up a small gap and I did a superb sprint, I'm very happy. Bastien (Tronchon) and Paul (Lapeira) didn't make the effort right away, but told me to go for it.
