Anthony Jullien: "A good block of races
"I am happy to participate in the Tour Poitou-Charentes. It will give me a good block of races after the Circuit Franco-Belge (10/08), La Polynormande (14/08) and the Bemer Cyclassics (21/08). That's what I'm missing compared to those who come out of the Tour de France or week-long races and I'm sure it will do me good.
Now that my health problems are solved, I want to quickly get back to my level to help the team for the rest of the season. There will be a nice race program, starting with this Tour Poitou-Charentes.
The time trial is usually decisive for the overall classification but we will have several opportunities to shine on the stages with Marc in particular in the sprints."[/su_quote]

The Vuelta a Espana (2nd stage): a smooth day for the AG2R CITROËN team
The second stage of the Vuelta a Espana ended with a bunch sprint. It was a smooth day for all the riders of the AG2R CITROËN team.
"The objective of the day was to not lose any time, especially for Ben O'Connor. In the Netherlands, there are a lot of town crossings with narrow passages and lots of people, which always generates nervous tension. It is therefore important not to take any risks and to avoid crashes", says Cyril Dessel, sports director of the AG2R CITROËN team.
