Michael Schär: "We rode in a beautiful harmony".

"I'm happy with this prize. The other three riders in the breakaway deserved it too because we rode in a nice harmony and we all worked well. Maybe if the fifth rider had stayed with us, we could have gone further and won because we were caught only five kilometers from the finish line. After our misfortunes on the first stage, I hope this will put the whole team back on the right track and that we'll be making a lot of noise again."[/su_quote]

The news

Bob Jungels operated on

Bob Jungels underwent two lower limb surgeries last week to treat the external illiac endofibrosis that kept him out of the Tour de France. "It's always a shame to be at home and not racing, but I'm happy to have identified the reason for the problem that has been handicapping me for so long. I know that I will be inactive for at least eight weeks and that I will have to be patient because it will be a long road. I am in good spirits and I am motivated. I will do everything to find my best sensations and prove that I have not lost my qualities. I look forward to the future. I would like to thank Dr. Corten, Dr. Stocks and Dr. Lauwers who took care of me as well as the staff of the AG2R Citroën team," said Bob Jungels.
