Bob Jungels underwent two lower limb surgeries last week to treat the external illiac endofibrosis that kept him out of the Tour de France. "It's always a shame to be at home and not racing, but I'm happy to have identified the reason for the problem that has been handicapping me for so long. I know that I will be inactive for at least eight weeks and that I will have to be patient because it will be a long road. I am in good spirits and I am motivated. I will do everything to find my best sensations and prove that I have not lost my qualities. I look forward to the future.
