Aurélien Paret-Peintre: "I have grown in power as the days went by

"It's a week that ends well. I was very motivated this morning because I knew that with the difficult weather conditions, there was the possibility to take back some places in the general classification. I got stronger as the days went by and I am very happy with this top 10.
My newfound form over the last weekend gives me hope for great things in the weeks to come. I'm going to race the Grand Prix de Denain - Porte du Hainaut on March 17 to ride on the cobblestones in preparation for the Tour de France, then I'll follow it up with the Itzulia Basque Country and the Ardennes classics."[/su_quote]

He was 9th in 2021. He is 10th this year.
"This Paris-Nice ends on a good note after a very difficult day in terms of conditions. The race was unbridled throughout the day and we had to be resistant. Aurélien (Paret-Peintre) did that today. He is proving once again that he is a rider who has a good disposition for stage races," said Vincent Lavenu, general manager of the AG2R CITROËN team.
