"Paris-Nice is the first big goal of my season. It's a race that I really like and that I have often succeeded in the past. I am very motivated to shine there again this year. The objective will be to do better than last year (10th). I want to get closer to the top 5 in the overall ranking even if the competition will be tough. I'm still in good shape, just like I was during the Tour des Alpes-Maritimes et du Var where I won the last stage. I was still in the mix at the Faun Ardèche Classic last weekend (13th). I'm coming here with confidence and I know that I can count on a strong team around me. The course suits me with nice finishes at the top.

Seven riders from the AG2R CITROËN team in Spain
Alex Baudin, Franck Bonnamour, Nicolas Prodhomme, Antoine Raugel, Valentin Retailleau, Bastien Tronchon and Clément Venturini will be training on the Costa Brava (Spain) from March 6 to 11, supervised by David Giraud and Yann Bertron, coaches of the AG2R CITROËN team.

The number
Aurélien Paret-Peintre will participate in Paris-Nice for the fourth time in his career. The rider of the AG2R CITROËN team has twice finished in the top 10 (9th in 2021, 10th in 2022).
Clément Berthet and Larry Warbasse will be at the start of the "Race to the Sun" for the first time in their careers.
