"A day of dreams".

"I'm really happy, my legs were up to the task. It's quite rare for me to be able to compete in my national championship, as it often falls in front of big races like the Tour de Suisse. The course was fairly flat, as is often the case in Finland, but with a small bump in the final stretch. The plan was to isolate myself on this final hump thirty kilometers from the finish to avoid having to sprint. That's what I managed to do, by going off on my own and managing the gap to the fastest riders in the final stretch. I'm so happy to have had the chance to take part in this race, and with the jersey at the finish, it's a dream day."
