Benoît Cosnefroy: "No regrets

"We came to play the victory with the team. It was a close call with this podium. They were riding very hard in front and despite a very good understanding with Julian (Alaphilippe) and Guillaume (Martin), we didn't manage to get in. It was a great match between French riders! There are no regrets, we did with what we had physically today. I took pleasure. It's a very nice course and a nice finish."[/su_quote]

Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne: Oliver Naesen 20th

Oliver Naesen finished 20th in Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne. Damien Touzé was in the breakaway. "Greg Van Avermaet and Oliver Naesen finished third and fourth in Saturday's Omloop Het Nieuwsblad on the first weekend of the classics. The new course of Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne is more suitable for sprinters than for classicists. Without a small problem in the final pack, Oliver could have finished in the top 10," said Julien Jurdie, sports director of the AG2R CITROËN team.
