"It's been an exceptional week which has exceeded our expectations. The Critérium du Dauphiné got off to a great start with Bastien Tronchon's three top-10 finishes, which set the general dynamic in motion. Our collective performance in the time trial was also noteworthy, as we finished second in the team classification. The weekend and the Alpine stages were Dantesque, and the team responded at every level, slipping into breakaways and supporting Paul (Seixas). Today, there was a small collision at the foot of the pass, which is part of the learning process, and we reacted well by keeping Aurélien (Paret-Peintre), Clément (Berthet) and then Bruno (Armirail) waiting, who enabled Paul to limit the gap. Without this collective effort, the top 10 would surely have eluded us, but the main thing is there: eighth place overall in the Critérium du Dauphiné, a great team effort and the best climber jersey for Bruno."

Record earliness

After becoming the youngest rider to finish in the top 10 of a WorldTour individual time trial, Paul Seixas, by placing eighth overall at the Critérium du Dauphiné, becomes the youngest rider in the modern era to enter the top 10 overall of a WorldTour stage race.

The number

Like the place of the DECATHLON AG2R LA MONDIALE team in the overall team ranking of the Critérium du Dauphiné. A fine performance that reflects the homogeneity and commitment of all the riders.
