Alex Baudin

" We'll try again tomorrow "

"It was a very fast day and the whole team did a great job to get into a good position at the foot of the final climb. We managed our effort with Victor (Lafay) at first. Victor then managed to keep up with Tim Wellens' attack with 2km to go. For my part, I was able to let the other teams work, as they wanted to catch up with the leading duo. Unfortunately, we lacked the freshness to keep up with Lennert Van Eetvelt and Oscar Onley, who flew away to victory. I'm happy with my performance and this fine third place. Victor finished fourth. We're both in the hunt for the overall classification. We'll try again tomorrow. "
